FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our podiatry services

Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?

No referral is required for private patients. You can book an appointment directly with us. However, if you are claiming through DVA, Medicare (EPC plan), or Workers Compensation, a referral from your GP is necessary.

Do you accept NDIS participants?

Yes, we accept eligible NDIS participants. We can provide assessments, treatments, and assistive technology (such as orthotics and footwear) for participants with self-managed or plan-managed funding. Contact us to confirm details.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring any relevant scans (X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound) or reports, a list of your current symptoms, and a few pairs of footwear you commonly wear (e.g., work shoes, running shoes) as they help in our assessment.

Do you provide custom orthotics?

Yes, we conduct comprehensive biomechanical assessments and gait analysis to prescribe and manufacture custom orthotics when they are needed to treat your condition.

How long is a consultation?

An initial consultation is typically 30–45 minutes, depending on the complexity of your condition. Subsequent review appointments are usually 20–30 minutes.
